Delete your Beagler account
This page explains how to delete your Beagler account and workspace, exactly what is erased, and what is kept afterwards.
Last updated 27 August 2026
If you signed up and own the workspace
Deleting a workspace removes it for everyone in it, so only a workspace administrator can do it. If you created the account yourself, that is you.
- 1Sign in to Beagler, in the app or at beagler.io, as a workspace administrator.
- 2Open Settings.
- 3Scroll to Delete account.
- 4Confirm when prompted. The workspace and everything in it is erased immediately, and cannot be restored.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way to undo it. If you only want to stop being billed, cancel your subscription in Settings instead — that keeps your data.
If you were invited into someone else’s workspace
If your employer or an agency added you to their Beagler workspace, the workspace belongs to them — so you cannot delete it. You can delete your own account:
- 1Sign in to Beagler, in the app or at beagler.io.
- 2Open your Profile from the account menu.
- 3Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete my account.
- 4Type DELETE to confirm. Your user account and personal details are removed, and you are signed out.
The workspace and its records — candidates, clients, invoices — belong to the organization and are not affected. If you would rather not do it yourself, email us and we will handle it:
What is deleted
Everything belonging to the workspace is erased from the live system:
- Candidates, their applications and every resume or document uploaded against them
- Clients and client contacts
- Job postings, and the public job pages served from them
- Meetings, tasks and calendar entries
- Invoices and invoice line items, and your invoice settings
- Payroll records, expenses and employee records
- Chat conversations and messages
- Support tickets
- Every user account in the workspace, along with their notifications, device tokens, email and calendar settings
- The workspace itself
Any active subscription is cancelled first, so no further charge is made.
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups — up to 30 days. Deleted data may still exist in an encrypted backup taken before the deletion. Backups are rotated automatically, so the last one containing your data is destroyed within 30 days.
- Billing records. Invoices and payment records held by our payment provider are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. These identify the business that paid, not the candidates in your workspace.
If you are a candidate, not a customer
If a recruiter holds your details in their Beagler workspace, that recruiter decides what happens to them — we store the data on their behalf and cannot delete it without their instruction. Contact the agency you applied to. If you are not sure who that is, write to us and we will help you reach them.
Can’t sign in?
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, email us from the address on the account and we will verify you and delete it for you.
